Wow, never seen anything like that at a construction site before.
NRAH had heaps of remediation like this. It's a very contaminated area. Much rather they take their time and do it properly!

Thanks for the photos Andy. It's still a little, ermm, yeah nah for me at this stage. The taller it becomes the more disjointed it looks.

What a brilliant photo Andy! I'm really liking how this is turning out, it's already far more dynamic than Adelaidean next door. I don't even mind the contrasting spandrels now.

Great stuff!

[U/C] Re: 203 North Terrace | 119m | 35 levels | Student Accom

First panels featuring the blades were added today. They are a champagne coloured blade, satin in finish with a definite colour change to them. I need to see more of them to have an opinion. The small windows (only one is visible) are highly reflective carbon colour, pity the northern facade won't f...

The basket weave facade on this looks phenomenal! This could be a true national landmark which is incredibly exciting! (bumping the article to a new page too to highlight the renders!) Thanks for the pics Andy, this is fast becoming one of my favourite towers in Adelaide. Hopefully the crown will have a good finish too.

I too like the signage, for what it's worth.

Will be keen to see it lit up, in combination with the roof feature.

Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail

I hope they can book a better class of advertising for the entrance of our premier retail district. At the moment it's rotating between government PSAs, and a suburban chicken and chip shop (seriously). It's completely driven by companies who purchase space on the asset. As it's a new item, I'm ass...

I would hope they're going to paint the orange coloured section white to make it have a cleaner finish. It doesn't really match ATM. I don't hate the orange, largely because the finish of the cladding is good. But I agree with you, it would look better if it were white, or better yet, a highly refl...

[U/C] Re: Festival Plaza Redevelopment | $800 million

Am I the only one that thinks this will look better? The fact that now we have the tower ‘boxes’ at slightly different angles means each section will reflect differently in the sun. This is opposed to one large uniform box in the previous application. The floor plates are far more interesting now. ...

[U/C] Re: Festival Plaza Redevelopment | $800 million

I'm probably going against the grain here, but I quite like the revision. If the materials are of high quality, with the facade having low transparency, I actually reckon it could look quite striking. The view of the northern facing skyline will be massively more modern, with this tower all but bloc...

Don't think this has been posted here, but here's a render from the Synergy website of the roof: https://synergyconstruct.com.au/app/uploads/20200301_62-Photo-1000x563.jpg Another one too of what I think is the middle part: https://synergyconstruct.com.au/app/uploads/20200301_70-Photo-1000x563.jpg ...
