Re: The SA Politics Thread

I'm not against democracy or voting when done correctly. However, the country is full of uneducated people though and I think we need to re-educate the populace in understanding how our nation runs and what is needed so they know what they're actually voting for. Rather then trusting what Rupert is ...

Re: The SA Politics Thread

For state and Federal Elections, I believe there is no point in voting. Seriously, leave it to established Officials to choose the people most qualified for the job. So much more streamlined. So, let corruption reign? Established Officials will end up looking after themselves, meaning they will be ...

So a military junta then. What are you? A communist?
No, the military are a dumb idea as well. Everybody who votes are either uninformed or unintelligent. Do you really want this sort of crowd choosing who runs the country?

Re: The SA Politics Thread

I am surprised Steven Marshall has backed her. It just shows how the Liberal Party is just a Coalition of 2 factions. In NSW they're called the wets and the drys. Here they're called the Chapman Faction and everybody else.

20-22 Currie St vibes with this one.

Delay, Recession, Delay, "we remain committed", 12 month delay, never happens.

If this happens, I'll be surprised.

This whole development is a joke and the people in charge know this and choose to extend it.

I like the Switch more than this development. At least the Switch looked tall, this looks stumpy.

Re: New City Arena

No it won't. What will attract more concerts is people buying tickets promptly not at the last minute if at all. Its been said by multiple people here with industry connections. One of the major issues is disposable income. Its a rare commodity in SA. It's a reflection of the economic and socio-eco...

[U/C] Re: Festival Plaza Redevelopment | $800 million

A dramatically revamped Festival Plaza will open for March’s festival season after almost a decade’s wrangling over the $663m redevelopment of some of Adelaide’s most prized land. Under the final deal with Sydney property tycoon Lang Walker hammered out by Treasurer Rob Lucas, an office tower of up...

It's definitely not desirable. There are whole city blocks in Sydney that are foreign owned and nobody lives in any of the properties. Especially around Lidcombe. It's horrible.

[VIS] Re: Masonic Lodge | 160m | 39lvls | Mixed Use | NEW TALLEST

I will gather my evidence and possibly talk to some city planners about it for advice, and finalize the points. I believe there is demand for higher towers. Kyren Group (Adelaidean), and Maxcon (Realm) both hinted they would have built higher had the limitations not been in place. In addition, the ...
