There's now a sales and info stand set up in the atrium between the Central Market and food court.

Yeah nice little surprise development, elegant design in the core CBD and found a few tenants too. Good result.

Re: News & Discussion: Electricity Infrastructure

There seems to be a new large scale solar/wind/battery farm announced every other week in SA. It's hard to keep up. I check this thread regularly out of interest but it's far from my area of expertise. Could someone post a quick list of all current projects that are under SWP/construction/commission...

Re: Adelaide Oval Expansion

I'd also imagine that aside from crowd numbers, the AFL would've been nervous about the possibility of an outbreak in S.A between now and the Grand Final. Seeing as we share a border with NSW and Victoria, the likelihood of that happening would be much higher than in W.A.

Yep, i'm all for developments like this in inner city areas. Projects like this are slowly becoming the norm, hopefully if we keep up this pace then they will no longer be worthy of a mention in this forum. That's my dream :D

C'mon peeps, not quite sure what the problem is re Rebel Sport. Some dark paint and you all getting in a tizz! In the current climate i'd be happy if I owned that building.

As if that stupid flag will actually happen, it's only a render. Chill out

Re: News & Discussion: Low/Mid-Rise CBD Development

Demolition is almost complete at 381 King William Street, next to Quest KW South. Anyone know what might be going on here?

I remember going to that shoe store a couple years ago, the business owner had been told to vacate after being there for many years. The building had been vacant since then.

Re: SA Economy

Wow, 60 people. You could fill one pub with after work drinks on a Friday. The economy is booming! I really think you're missing the point. The fact there's currently no overseas migration and our population is hanging steady is quite significant. If it wasn't for overseas immigration, S.A's popula...

Re: SA Economy

Quoting population data changes proves nothing about stopping the brain drain. It just means more people migrated to Adelaide and SA than left interstate. It doesn't specify the actual people who moved. For all we know, the people going out could be highly educated individuals and the people coming...

Re: SA Economy

The ABS regional internal migration estimates released on Tuesday show Adelaide lost 320 people to other areas of South Australia but gained 380 people from interstate – the first net gain since the December, 2002 quarter. Perth (1600 people), Brisbane (3300) and Canberra (140) were the only other ...

Re: SA Economy

Appreciate the updates, always good reading. We have 3 Banks (consecutive, NAB and WBC) telling us how good the state is going, but why aren't we seeing jobs growth? Or even more rapid population growth? Sent from my SM-A505YN using Tapatalk I think sadly S.A will likely never see "rapid popul...

Citywatcher are you saying i am uneducated? That is a bit shit of you to say. It is my opinion and I am entitled to free speech. Yes it was a turd before but now they are upgrading it to make it less of a turd. Can’t we at least see how it turns out before we say what it is like. I remember people ...

This was approved. Massive step towards taller buildings across the cbd.
Maybe approved, but we've seen hundreds of things approved on this forum that never got built. How confident are you of this one going ahead?
