Re: #Official Defence Thread

Initial reports last night mentioned Perth. Glad this has been cleared up this morning, and the build will remain here. Would have been a devastating loss to the state had this been moved interstate.

Re: #Official Defence Thread

Reports on the ABC tonight that the government will scrap the current submarine contract with France, and rather go with American nuclear powered submarines. Although probably a better deal for the Commonwealth, nonetheless this seems like a crushing blow to SA. Wonder what package we will get as co...

Unfortunately this looks like a lost opportunity. Although I think the proposal looks ok at 9 levels in the CBD core is a massive underdevelopment. 20-22 CURRIE ST ADELAIDE SA 5000 UNDER ASSESSMENT Description Construction of 9 level office building, canopy and illuminated advertisement Hey Ben, do...

Re: New City Arena

As a health care professional myself, I am disappointing with how politicians address these issues. They think that by building bigger hospitals or buying more ambulances the issues will be solved. They are wrong. The real problems and thus solutions lie at both extremes of the patient journey. We n...

You would imagine such behavior to be illegal.

I also have 2 small children, and felt threatened and unsafe walking them to the museum recently.

However, I suspect the authorities are too timid to do anything, in fear of provoking the outrage happy woke brigade.

This is a disappointing turn of events.

I liked the initial idea of the new development wrapping around the James Place Hotel. I'm assuming this is a bit of cost cutting, in that its probably cheaper to build a monolithic facade to James Place rather than preserving the old pub.

Thanks for the photos Andy!

This building however is terrible. The new tallish buildings have helped bring Adelaide's skyline out of the 20th century, but then this takes us back to the 70s.
