Define "sales are going well"!!! From what I have heard they would be lucky to count them on one hand. The fact is that they are going through a redesign of the apartments and pricing because the market didn't want to touch it. My guess for the variation lodged with DAC is that the extra l...

Construction/Site works has definitely started. The building will be complete by December 2018, its in Watpacs contract. As if you haven't been misled by these guys several times already!! They even posted another terribly scripted video on their facebook page yesterday with the Watpac site manager...

I'm curious as to why our planning department would recommend approval for a proposal where over half of the apartments are smaller than the minimum standards set by themselves???? There's little wonder why many people refer to city apartments as "dog boxes" when plans like these are allow...

with only about 5 weeks until everyone shuts down for the Christmas break, I would be surprised to see any project commence any work if they haven't already. At best Kodo might do the demolition that they have talked about for months but given that they are only 60% sold at best, it still may be man...

I wasn't aware there was a "retirement village" component. I thought Karidis had just said that he would be targeting the retirement age demographic as downsizers but perhaps I missed something?

Cash money - 2 x 30 storey towers??? Any guesses as to how deep he would need to dig into those pockets? Just because you have the money, doesn't mean you are silly enough to pour it all into something without the confidence of the market accepting it. Most people don't get to have lots of money wit...

Wouldn't it be important to get a development approval before they start asking for tenders, etc? There seems to be an awful lot of work to do on this before they start construction as indicated at the end of this year. I know Karidis has deep pockets but surely he will need some bank funding and th...

I would be surprised if this isn't built. Many of the same advantages as Vue - except not next to the park lands, but closer to the city. Is this the 5th resi block proposed at 28 floors or over What happened to Trims? ADELAIDE - TOWARDS A GREATER CITY SKYLINE I'm not saying this won't go ahead but...

I can only assume that is tongue in cheek - otherwise, I think you might be misjudging the demographic they are seeking! These are mobile downsizers that probably have nice cars that they like to use so I don't think the tram is much of a drawcard. Their private health will probably lead them to a h...

Don't forget the 250 apartments just approved on South Tce as well. From what I have heard, they are also going to be targeting the downsizer market. It appears that there will be more of these developments targeting that segment and I fear that supply will outweigh demand. Whilst we haven't seen an...

Has anyone heard how sales are going on this one? Based on what I can see on realestate.com, their pricing seems way higher than anything else around. Small living areas and asking around $9K-$11K/sqm. Most projects in Adelaide seem to struggle to get $7K-$8K/sqm so I'd be interested to know who is ...

I'm with you guys in giving this one a big thumbs up. :applause: I especially like how the upper floor 3 bed apartments all come with an internal dedicated storage room inside the apartment. Good planning. I'm a big fan of the East End but I'm still a bit 'iffy' on that part of Pirie street though....
