[U/C] Re: M2 North-South Motorway

Good Lord, that does not look pretty. It looks overengineered.

That bridge to Anzac Highway the CBD doesn't need to be there because I thought the main purpose of the freeway was for freight and moving it along the corridor. This bridge will only further encourage the car commute to the city.

[U/C] Re: M2 North-South Motorway

First it was Rod Hook's Cable Cars, now it's Luigi Rossi's Sky Freeway... Do all retired department leaders make their own businesses and propose out-there ideas to leave a name for themselves?

Here's a drive-through of The Square at Woodville West. All of the land has now been sold and the project should wrap up soon.

Re: Re-Imagining the Adelaide Bus Network

Good work! I think for 410, 412 and 414 buses should use the North-South Motorway then continue onto the bus lanes on Port Road. I'm not usually a fan of park-and-rides, but a big park-and-ride near the roundabout on Bolivar Road near the motorway would attract a lot of users. That way it's only 25...

[PRO] Re: Hindmarsh Stadium Upgrade

$53 million and it is getting no increase to the capacity. A capacity increase isn't the pressing issue though. Exactly. I have been going to this stadium for almost every game in the last 10 years and can tell you that this is a massive upgrade that will make a big difference for both spectators a...

what a waste of $$$$
How is it a waste of money? Hindmarsh had been crying out for an upgrade for years. This upgrade will bring it closer to the 21st century.

Not sure if previously mentioned, but Coles closes in March next year.
Coles is on the Central Market Arcade site. 36 Grote Street is on the other side of that development.

Very unlikely. The development application was rejected, and the builder would not be able to demolish unless a development has been approved.

Re: PRO: Magill Road precinct

Except it is a thoroughfare for motor vehicle traffic. What happens to that traffic? Which alternative roads will the majority of through traffic take? Have they given any consideration to this? Or as usual by Adelaide standards, fix it when the problem has been ongoing for 20 years? Looks good oth...
