The Marion Council is engaging with the community on upgrading Raglan Avenue between the Seaford Line and Towers Terrace. The main changes are more trees, raingardens and permeable paving to better protect the area from flash flooding. This ties in with the upgrade of Raglan Avenue on the other side...

The people that run the pub don't own it. They lease the space from the current landlord. They could be running a profit for all we know, but the landlord can choose not to extend the lease if they want to develop it.

Re: The Housing Crisis
I don't have any data at the moment to back it up, but I thought most of those migrants would be international students commencing or resuming their studies in Australia post-Covid, merely making up the ones we lost. I'll have a bit more of a dig into the data when I can. From the ABS.. Key statist...

The land has been reserved for a good 10 years or so, but I'm not sure if it was done in stages or in one go. There was a proposal during the Marshall government to shorten the reserved land back to Port Road/Quinlivan Road instead of Aldinga Beach Road, but this was overturned by the Mali government.

The upgrade looks great and is well overdue. I don't think the people in the tenders represent the actual crowd though ... Where's Stumbling Sam, Drunk Dave and a random person throwing up in one of the new planter boxes? Hopefully the urban elements are all designed to take plenty of damage, includ...
