Does it even still have active development approval? They do lapse and it's been almost four years since we've heard anything on this.
Good question. Its owned by a Singaporean development company after Mandala sold It a few years back we discussed here.

151 Gilbert Street, behind my place, is back on the market. Not surprised. Place has been silent for months except for the cars from next door using it as a car park.
Didn’t forme projex have a proposal for there? They usually have a pretty good track record with following through.

God this building is an abomination, how it was approved on our premier terrace is beyond me. Communist tower chic. If communists were building something on North Terrace, it would have an amazingly bold facade with a gigantic colourful mural showing farmers and miners and teachers and soldiers all...

Love that first picture of this alongside the BHP tower. Together they have quite a mid-century internationalist style feel imo, which means both should age really well.

Honestly, for such a small plot, this is fine. It looks less awkward at this height IMO.
Agree with this. There’s plenty of future potential sites for development in Glenelg as well.

Maybe Hutt Street and East Terrace although both are small enough they could be done with mobile cranes. kings head appears to be on hold. The Little National on Nort...
