Melbourne St North Adelaide crane coming down today.

I too thought the crane at Glenelg North would have come down but i passed by on Sunday and it is still up. There is a new project Quay View apartments starting next door. (on the north side left side of picture).

It was being taken down yesterday (Monday).

Pretty sure Glenelg apartments crane (Kennett job) is now down.

There is an IGA coming soon to the ground level retail space of the West Franklin building. Currently being fit out.

This project is funded in tomorrows state budget I believe.

Unfortunately Wing It sports bar on KW street has gone into liquidation and is now closed, per their Facebook page.

Sod turning ceremony today. Apparently $110m worth of apartments have been sold. Basement/car park/foundation work to take 12 months and buildings expected to rise out of the ground this time next year.

Anyone know who the builder is?

The showroom is only open for another day or so before it is demolished/removed to “allow construction to commence” according to advertising for this.

Nope it’s just a crane set up in the Titan Cranes yard. Not exactly sure why, but it’s not for any new construction activity.

The logo is completely different… same company?

I think it actually says I J Projects? Either way, can’t find anything on them either

Early on in the piece, the Facebook page for the project said that Watpac was the builder, but I guess that was a while ago and something must have changed.

This is out for tender.

Flinders Uni should have 1-2 around the middle of the year too?
