[SWP] Re: Central Market Arcade Redevelopment | 124m | 38 levels

After pressing ICD on what is going on with this project, they have said on their linked in page that demolition will occur after May or from mid year. I feel this this is extremely far behind what the public was told originally and that will mean this prime central site will be dormant for over 12...

[SWP] Re: Lot 14 (Old RAH Site)

I’m a little bit confused by this site… They’ve stalled the new gallery citing the need to review the price tag and perhaps spend more on the project, but they’ve already started on the basement supports, meanwhile the entrepreneurial centre (can’t recall it’s official name), has been given the gre...

[COM] Re: Memorial Drive upgrade

This show the stadium actually looks good and it is better than mediocre. You are entitled to your opinion of course but some on here do winge alot there were complaints from TV viewers about the shadows cast on the court due to the venue design I assume you are talking about the roof's support bea...

Why are people worried about this not happening? Have I missed something?
I guess just since last we heard demolition was commencing in November 2022, and that came and went without much of anything happening. I'm quite confident this will go ahead, having I believe over 95% of apartments sold.

[COM] Re: Memorial Drive upgrade

Have to say the venue/set up looks pretty average on the TV coverage It's the sort of upgrade that would happen to a third or fourth court, not the main court. its not a grand slam or masters series venue Yeah exactly, I would say it's a pretty good venue for an ATP 250 event and it has great facil...

I know that mate I’ve been on this forum a lot longer than you, I don’t need the mansplaining. I’ve also seen developers increase height as well. Typically they’re be some type of statement with such a change, a new lodgement of sorts I presume they are referring to this, which doesn't make clear h...

Demolition has progressed with mostly just the facade left. Covered in Synergy Construct signage too so I expect to see it go up quickly.
Will be great to see this and Market Square go up. Will be glad to see Grote St not be a low rise street in the centre of a CBD.
