Is this really going to be finished this year?

Now im no civil engineer or tonka toy driver but just by looking at the interchanges i find it highly unlikely.

Labor will announce this weekend that they will take back any tram or train services that are outsourced by the Liberals if they are elected at the 2022 state election. I believe the option of taking back the bus contracts will be explored too. They say they will, but they had 16 uninterrupted year...

Are they eliminating the right turn from Kings road onto PWR? Not sure where you mean, kings road and port Wakefield road dont intersect. Doesn't Bolivar road end at the roundabout with kings road the new intersecting road? https://i.imgur.com/ZoUKVok.png I havent seen the new map of that intersect...

Permanent overhead signage has now been installed at Traffic reports already talk about "queuing at the northern end of the North-South Motorway". I have assumed that means both Pym Street and Port River Expressway. If the new bit got the same name, it would include Clovelly Park as well ...

Extending the Port River Expressway to connect with Montugue road (with an upgrade to the Montugue and Main North Road intersection) should be enough to funnel traffic from the northeast off main north road and northeast road away from the city.

Surely no one expects the rest of south road to be done in one single project? Surely it will be broken down into smaller, more manageable pieces?
