The hotel design looks good and is a decent height, but I think I prefer the original proposal from back in 2010
The facade of that heritage building should be preserved, maybe move it down the street in front of the ACC building so that it's right next door to the Epworth Building.

Looks good, great to see another hotel interested in Adelaide. My only concern with this is if the Western side is a massive concrete wall

As I hoped, this one is reminding me more and more of 101 Collins Street, Melbourne. You're right about that. lol how? These two buildings look nothing alike, and 101 Collins is 170m taller. I think it reminds me more of the Pre-Refurb ANZ building on Martin Place in Sydney, similar height, similar...

The parking station should be demolished, if there's need for parking it should be built underground.
I dont know how they got away with building it in the first place so close to the Botanic Gardens.

Maybe the owners of Arndale should pressure the state govt to rename Kilkenny train station to 'Arndale Centre', it's about a 10min walk from the shopping centre which is a similar distance as Westfield Marion is from Oaklands station

I know right. Gawler electrification work began in 2012.
If only they'd just get on with it and put up the wires, like why can't they do it as quickly as Oaklands seems to be getting done?

Re: News & Discussion: Roads & Traffic
I think it's just some people don't know how to drive. The lanes in the underpass are 2.7m wide, the average SUV and 4WD is about 2m wide, our standard road lanes are a very generous 3.5m. In the suburbs there's less than 2.7m on some streets when there are cars parked both sides. Getting though tig...

O-Bahn buses have side door loading. How long have they been doing that for? Since Monday 26th March 2018: https://adelaidemetro.com.au/Announcements/News/All-day-every-day-O-Bahn-all-door-boarding Seen a few people from out of town tapping their metrocard to touch-off when exiting, might need a si...

Oh wow, something with a curve, even if it's just one corner it will be a welcome change to the boxy Adelaide skyline. Height is also decent, should block out Westpac a bit. :applause: But.. this has me a little worried it may never get up. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-07-23/construction-set-for-...

For a slight change of pace — good that the updated announcements on the tram tell you which side the platform will be at each stop, but the "in the direction of travel" at the end of every announcement is like nails on a chalkboard. What idiot wouldn't understand that 'left' and 'right' ...
