[PRO] Re: Westfield Marion (2019/20 Extension)
The standalone Coles just north of Marion was renamed from Oaklands Park to Warradale after its renovations to avoid the confusion between that store and Westfield Marion being in Oaklands Park. Also, both the Woodcroft shopping Centre and Southgate Plaza (commonly referred to as Reynella, and I kno...

The flat land on Glenthorne would make it much easier to adjust Majors road to align with the current Blacks Road. The problem here is cutting into Glenthorne with environment minister & member for Black, David Spiers also running for next Libreral premier. I don't think he'll let Glenthorne get...

Rev, how did you forget the idiots that stop before a zip merge because they think they have to give way?

Daws road northbound would be perfectly fine to use the Tonsley exit.Shuz wrote:SURELY... Daws Road and Cross Road exits!?
An exit may be handy for southbound, but would have to be substantially before the intersection to avoid the power station (based on how T2T was designed around that one)

So what happens at clovelly park where the fenced off houses and businesses that are earmarked for demo if the tunnel entrance doesn’t go ahead there? That spot was for the staging area for the tunnel boring machines. Would a trench require that land as well? Went past today and at least 2 of these...

Is it no charge nationally, or only in SA/Some states. Because if a driver from say Victoria has to pay in Vic, they may be hesitant to use it here thinking they'll have to pay here as well.
Should definitely be included on signage either way anyway

Re: [CAN] Castle Plaza Shopping Centre Redevelopment
Surely the South Road frontage of this site would be a great location for a chunk of the businesses being demolished at Tonsley to move if the government is finding land to accommodate them (as mentioned in the North-South thread). It's not too far from their existing location and they can still kee...

Re: News & Discussion: Roads & Traffic
There's an upgrade coming for Majors Road, O'Halloran Hill. Not sure what it entails, but I assume it could be for a full resurfacing or maybe even a complete rebuild. The road connects Lonsdale Road with Main South Road on top of the hill and is notorious for its bad road surface because of the re...

Re: News & Discussion: Roads & Traffic
I drive up and down this part of Brighton road daily, and while I definitely see the need for this intersection to be improved, I feel that I see more cars queued at Wheatland Street further south, and something should be done here (which I did make comment to recently when the department did a surv...

Bunnings is repainting their exterior at the moment, so I'm guessing plans have changed from them closing down and being replaced by parking?
Couldn't see them going to this expense if their lease was almost up

Came off the expressway at this exit last night, and I could see the lights for Expressway to Main South and as soon as Main South through traffic got the green light, the leds all switched off, so very bright and useful when exiting the expressway, and not distracting to other directions of travel!...

Re: Deregulation of Shop Trading Hours
Indaily---[url=https://indaily.com.au/news/2020/05/12/coronavirus-what-we-know-today-may-12/] Lucas has allowed extended trading hours throughout the pandemic, using rolling 30-day exemptions, citing SA Health advice that longer hours help facilitate social distancing. The new 30-day exemption will...

Was Coles originally Bi-Lo? It feels like an old Bi-lo. I wasn't in SA when Bi-Lo was discontinued and most turned into Coles. I only know one ex Bi-Lo that was never a Coles, a lot become Coles and closed though. The store I know is Brighton, was a Bi-Lo, Romeos IGA, Foodworks and a Woolworths - n...

The spilt traffic is how in the UK and Europe they create free flowing highways and less traffic trying to change lanes at the last minute; which is a SA speciality, oh I need to go to Goodwood, oh well let’s just change from the right hand lane over to the left hand lane at the last minute. Lol. 1...
