And part of the article that most will be interestedi n: Mr Jarman said Flagship was in discussions with Watpac around how to treat the building’s blank western wall, which rises over the adjacent Federal Court building. “At the minimum there’s some work that we can do around its continuity,” he sa...

This may have been said already: I reckon the reason for the huge core is because there's two of them, one for the hotel and one for the apartments. When the hotel section is done the apartment's core will continue up by itself.

[APP] Re: 29 Twin Street | 124m | 38lvls | Student accom
Adelaide media has an embarrassing habit of really exaggerating the heights of our buildings. From calling 100 and 130m towers soaring skyscrapers, using photographs that make them look taller than they really are, and now calling this the tallest student accommodation in the world. It's not the ta...

Re: News & Discussion: Trams
Is the voice announcer the same guy from the planes announcements. Also I don't see why we got to be told what side of the tram to get off, we got by fine for over a century Considering half the stops in the city you get out on the right, and the other half now on the left, it's a sensible thing to...

Re: News & Discussion: Trams
Why why why why are the Labor opposition trying to hold the government to account on their promise to deliver the right turn? They should be hammering home that it's been a bad idea all along, and actively pushing for him to backflip on it, not playing this silly game of election promise point scor...

If we look at AndyWelsh's picture https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181010/4d22667368b517eef63d11ce2c59fa4d.jpg and then one of the renders, https://cdn.newsapi.com.au/image/v1/5702dbe48ddda0fc1e2c2ca76091731b?width=1024 it seems fair to say the lower half of the podium is what's been built and the...

As long as it doesn't lose any height, I don't mind what changes are lobbied or happen (unless they're obviously bad ones). Ffs, why does it matter if it loses any height? Personal preference. I like the way Adelaide's skyline is headed and a building like this one plays a key role in modernising a...

Any word on when T2T will open? From a news.com.au article dated Jan 9: THE Torrens to Torrens upgrade of South Rd will be finished by the end of September, three months ahead of schedule. The new roadway will open earlier than expected and come in $95 million under the originally forecast $896 mil...
