Re: U/C: Electrification & Upgrade of the Adelaide Rail Network
ok Train geeks, I need your help - i'm curious sorry if this has been covered previously and I'm sure it has, but how easy would it be to reinstate the Belair to Bridgewater Service, from a technical standpoint. Is the line beyond Belair, now just a single standard gauge line ? And I guess we could ...

[COM] Re: Lot 101 Synagogue Place | 75m | 21 levels | Dwell Adelaide
Let's go back to the original render, here: https://www.centurioncorp.com.sg/portfolio/dwell-adelaide/ (sorry wish I could be savvy enough to attach an image). The concrete has a creamier tone, the inset circles have more contrast and where are the funky diagonals? They wouldn't dare build this shit...

Re: News & Discussion: Laneway Revitalisation Projects
Great photos Norman and thanks for the update. I am a massive fan of these projects, look forward to using the laneways, especially handy for me if I take the train into the city and need to hang out with the bearded peeps @ Peel St.

Re: News & Discussion: Cycling Infrastructure
How people with under 1000 votes can hold up major reform is beyond me, words like "kafkaesque", "surreal" and "only in Adelaide" come to mind.
Perhaps we need more progressive folk to run for council, Yarwood we miss you sir!

Re: News & Discussion: Cycling Infrastructure
Ok, look I hate being a negative nancy, I'd prefer not to be honestly, but I think it's time we stripped the ACC's powers for these important infrastructure projects, lets restrict the ACC to garbage collection and provision of library services.'

Re: News & Discussion: Cycling Infrastructure
god seriously, I wonder why I bother living in this pissant city, build the damned bike lanes already! If your crappy little business is struggling, then perhaps its time to think of something else to do or even better, die. Why are people so against such a healthy and unobtrusive activity such as c...

Re: U/C: Electrification & Upgrade of the Adelaide Rail Network
To those who complain about level crossings, the problem is solved if you use the train. You can't expect taxpayers to keep footing the bill for grade separation.

Shuz is on the money here, i'm sure renew adelaide could get involved, an interim measure of an open air park and market would be a great addition for the area.
