The crane going in today. It makes a nice contrast to the Favco style crane on the adjacent building site. Gouger street starting to look good.

[COM] Re: *U/C: Lot 8 (Coglin Place) - 43m ~ 13 levels
The crane base and part of the core went in today on the south-west corner if the site. The crane's supporting frame does not appear to be very large large or heavy, unlike the base of the crane already installed for the adjacent building in Gouger street. It looks like the majority of the lifting f...

[COM] Re: #U/C : Thomson Playford Building (Gouger St) - 8lvl
The crane base for the building is going in today on the edge of the site on Gouger street. Looks like it will be a pretty fast construction schedule, with the lift core already above street level.

Re: General CBD Development
There is a new development planned for the SW corner of Hutt and Angas street. The signs went up yesterday for a 4-level apartment complex called East Apartments. It would be nice to get rid of the open carpark there with its old iron fence. That wasteland has been there since they shamefully demoli...

Good to see the site wok has started. Drilling for the circular foundation piers has started. There is no basement so there should be some quick progress.

Re: #Redevelopment - Port Adelaide Waterfront $1.2billion
The two Multiplex cranes are now installed at the new Port development and it looks pretty good now. About 8-10 levels by the height of the cranes. Could not get a photo as it was dark when I drove past tonight.

Re: Fairer water restrictions
This is really turning into crazy stuff. Why are domestic consumers in Adelaide always getting the blame when the water is low? We have had water supply problems in Adelaide for years and no State government has done anything about increasing supply since the 70s. Especially the current one, who for...

[COM] Re: #Under Construction : Octagon Apartments
The crane is operational but only installed about 3 levels from the ground. I asked one of the construction guys who said that they will put a collar on the crane frame when they want to lift it higher takes 2-3 hours per section. Guess it will take a while for the foundations to be completed so wil...
