Re: Is it too late to save the Port?
I love Semaphore, lots going on there and can always get a decent park.IAintTouchin wrote:went to semaphore the other day and it was packed!! to the point that people were having picnics on the grassy island strand between the roads. The cafe's there were brilliant as well. Semaphore's really fixed itself up.

Re: Is it too late to save the Port?
Cities such as Hobart, Aukland, Wellington, which have fantastic lively waterfronts, have something that Port Adelaide does not: The major city centre is right there. Rather than try to make Port Adelaide like them, I think we should be looking at a place like Fremantle (which I admit I have not se...

Melbourne's Abandoned Skyscraper
Interesting article about an abandoned building in Melbourne being empty through the 90's & 2000's. Singaporean billionaire Tay Tee Peng purchased the building soon after for $12 million, and then spent $10 million refurbishing it, but with little success in attracting tenants. Throughout the 19...

Re: Mawson Lakes - Not just another suburb
I like the idea  . However were is everyone going to park. They already could do with a multi level car park next to the train station, if a development of this size being approved they will need another multi level car park. If you have a closer read of the article above, it mentions 2 lev...

Re: #PRO: Blakeview

I heard they upset some builders in this development, I heard they changed the encumbrances after several display homes had began construction, so buyers looking to build whats...

Re: #PRO: Blakeview
I hope you're kidding. Definitely not kidding, I recently drove through the developments through the suburbs of Blakeview, Craigmore, Munno Para West & surrounding areas & Delfin's "Blake Crossing" when finished will be the best of the lot. So if they can continue to increase &quo...
