[U/C] Re: News & Discussion: South Road / North-South Corridor
Probably late news, but it appears that the A13 designation for South Road has been retired in urban Adelaide, as it has all been coverplated for A2 South Road. Also the Salisbury Highway has now been re-designated as A9, presumably to tie into the Port River Expressway. It will be interesting when...

Re: News & Discussion: Public Transport
According to both the Minister and media reports it did happen in the depot. Intruders used bolt cutters to cut open a hole in the fence they then entered the depot and carried out the graffiti. So much for tight security? Maybe they should electrify the fence when they electrify the depot? ;) Does...

Re: U/C: Electrification & Upgrade of the Adelaide Rail Network
I can't see the merit in spending upwards of $1 billion to reroute via Murray Bridge, as the Libs have recently proposed. Even so, it would be great if it happened, then we could use the old railway as a dedicated bikeway :) Not yet while the current line still has some capacity. A better option wo...

You couldn't turn right there before the project started, so it's unlikely they'll include it afterBen wrote:Looks like you won't be able to turn right onto south from Ayliffes?

Re: News & Discussion: Public Transport
Massive upshot from the changes to bus stops along Grenfell and Currie is they've finally moved the taxi rank from in front of 25 Grenfell. It's a bus stop now. So hopefully no more taxis queuing across the pedestrian crossing, or mounting the footpath trying to tuck in to the end of the queue, and...

Re: Fleurieu Fast Rail
High speed rail in Australia, particularly South Australia is not particularly viable due to the distances involved meaning it's quicker and easier to fly, as well as high centralisation, meaning that you'd be running trains once a day due to low demand.

That extra lane for northbound is really weird man...I cant see the reason for it... are you supposed to follow it to get to the TAFE perhaps?
