Agree with this. There’s plenty of future potential sites for development in Glenelg as well.

Glad they’re retaining the building

The fact there’s three 115m+ buildings (including Adelaide’s tallest) all within about 200m kind of undermines their argument that it’s inappropriate for the area. Also, Mr Simms’ comments are tedious and misinformed.

There’s some work happening to the building on site (windows have been removed, inside looked gutted). I couldn’t tell if it was the start of demolition, but perhaps this is finally underway.
