Ahh yes we are going there soon, hopefully staying in that hotel. Port Lincoln will be a boom town IMO.

As for Mt Gambier, thank god its within our border!

I'm sorry but it looks like a hospital to me. Just my opinion, or at least, that is what medical centres in Asian countries look like.

I can't say I've seen a hospital with balconies, Edgar.

Know if the architects did much work on holdfast shores? It's similar to the style we see at glenelg currently.

maybe it's the so-plain and boring entrance coupled with the large flat shade that puts me off. This is supposed to be a Hotel, not apartment, now, it looks more like a service apartment than a hotel.

My parents were over in Coffin Bay a few weeks ago. After seeing the request for a pic after they came back I asked them if they'd seen the building. My Dad's answer was "I bet all the people behind it are pissed about losing their view." :)

If I'd seen the request for pics before they left I would have asked them to grab a few happy snaps.

As for the building, I think it looks rather good and it would be right at home in Adelaide or here in Brisbane. Next time I'm back in SA I'm going to be riding down as I'll have my new bike and I'm planning cruising the entire coast so I'm looking forward to seeing Pt. Lincoln again... been about ten years since I was last there.

It's decent looking, if standard and rather colourless. Good for Lincoln anyhow.

Yes, both projects are by Woodhead International

Thanks Will. Perhaps it would be nice if someone from there might be able to give us a bit of a run-down on the design and it's inspiration.
