The Advertiser :: How to help shape our city

#1 Post by sam » Sat Aug 13, 2005 9:27 am

Article in Samela Harris' Net Adventures Column, The Advertiser, today, page 57.
How To Help Shape Our City

Power to the people. All upcoming developments for Adelaide are outlined and discussed on this rather handsome website. The forum discussions reveal interesting gossip on development issues and some decent opinions. To participate in the forums, however, you need to register. It is a good site, so I am wondering why the webmaster identifies himself as a monkey. Perhaps worried about repercussions from the Adelaide City Council? With a web-wise chief in Michael Harbison, the council could only celebrate such bright chatter about the happenings of our city.

The recent upsurge in members at this site certainly shows how popular her column is

Just updated the first post with the whole excerpt.

Didn't quite understand the 'monkey' bit, and not entirely sure on the Adelaide City Council part either... i've spoken to the Cr's there before and they're mostly really positive people (probably why Adelaide CBD + North Adelaide is heading the direction that they are at the moment).

Anyhow... nice going Samela, your column is great.
