Outdoor Dining in Rundle Mall

Has anyone else noticed all the outdoor tables and chairs on the Eastern end of Rundle Mall are gone. The giant umbrellas look odd with nothing under them. Bit of a shame, really. Granted, McDonalds and KFC customers probably left the place trashed, but it was nice to have a coffee in the middle of the mall.

More council madness?

I was thinking the exact same thing, i thought it was just temporary. damn i do hope they bring them back... the mall doesn't seem the same during lunchtime.

This appears to be a hypocritical act of madness from the council. Whilst they spend money promoting Adelaide as 'you are here' they contradict themselves with such an action. Dont they realise that outdoor dining makes the city look more 'happening' .
