Cloning Laws & Research in South Australia

#1 Post by Wayno » Wed Oct 29, 2008 11:25 am

Hi guys, thought it might be interesting to run a simple survey about human cloning, laws, research, etc. Let's keep in mind this is a touchy subject and flippant comments may offend others.

Cloning related R&D is big business, and getting the laws right (whatever the heck that means) could be a big plus for South Australia.

The South Australian parliament will begin debating legislation today to bring the state into line with national laws on human cloning and embryonic research.

MPs will get a conscience vote on the proposed amendments to the bill, which would continue to ban human reproductive cloning and introduce strict controls on research, testing and experimentation involving human embryos.
Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.
