Rundle Mall Door

Was wandering down the mall during my lunch break today, and noticed the little door on the canopy has been ripped off. Anybody know what has happened there?
Vandals, or an overzealous cleaner?

So many quirky things in this city!. from a teddy bear at the airport to a small door in Rundle Mall.

I know! I only noticed yesterday that it was gone. I wonder who would remove it? I wouldn't have thought the council... but who knows. Do you have any idea how long it was there?

There used to be another one at the base of the old east end market gate at the corner of Union Street and Ebenezer Place.. but that disappeared sometime between Oct 08 and Mar 09 I estimate (because it wasn't there in March, but i remember seeing it later last year).
