I know it's a bit early now, but not having to celebrate Christmas 2005 properly, I would like to do it in a proper way this year. With Christmas tree and decorations.

Can someone direct me to any places that sell reasonably priced Christmas tree? I went to the one at Harbour Town yesterday and boy is it expensive. The high price is the least thing I expected coming from a country where Christmas plays a major part.

I think I can even get a lot bigger and better for the same price back in my home country

Ot is it too early to get one right now? Should I wait later in November?

Tell me where I can get them for a resonable price.

anyone will do. I do not have experience with real tree. But the ones I mentioned earlier is those fake tree which cost a bomb.

How much does an average real tree will cost?

Its too early for a real tree. It will die way before xmas. They also leave pine needles everywhere in the house. Smell nice though. They usually range from $20 - $40 and are approx 2m high.

Fake trees are unbelievably expensive but they should last for 10 - 15 years if handled carefully. Depends how big you want the tree to be Ed. The bigger ones (approx 2.5m high) can get up to $300 - $400. Check out http://www.echristmas.com.au/listing.asp?d=12 for an example of prices.

That's way too much a student can afford.

When does the real tree will be available for sale and where can I get it from?

Honestly, I have never seen a real christmas tree and I dont know much about them.

How do I make them stand and are the branches strong enough to hold the decorations?

Please provide me with more information. Thank you and it's very appreciated.

Hey Edgar you can get a 170cm tree from Big W for $40. It's really good quality for the price.

Although they may be a little bit expensive, I reccomend Myer in the city for great Christmas decorations.

However if you are on a budget places like Target sell very nice and relatively tall (198cm) Christmas Trees for around $100. Christmas trees generally are green, but you can also buy them in white and I have even seen gold coloured ones as well as a pink one!

speaking of christmas trees, adelaide city is getting a new one at 25m !!!! one of the nations tallest, possiblly the tallest

and if your after real cheap xmas trees, have a look at Cheapos (cheap as chips), The Warehouse, Cunninghams, Neds, Reject Shop or GO-LO

ACC are in the process of putting up Australia's largest Christmas tree in Vic square. I reckon it will look awesome as your coming up or down King William. Almost double the size it was last year.

I saw the strangest thing in what I think was either target's or k-mart's catalog. this new style of christmas tree which is up side down, so the tip of the tree begins from the bottom and it fans out at its base at the top. One for sure, it didn't get my approval as with a lot of other people i can imagine.

I like real trees the best, the smell is really nice, only annoying thing is sometimes there hard to balance and after they become dry, all the little thingies (lol i don't know what there called) fall all over the place.

But yeah, I've seen the new upside down concept and it is silly

I am still searching for a nice 2 metres or taller, Christmas tree for less than $150, couldn't get any for that price, there is a couple of design in Big W and Lincraft, but their colours isn't the best to come close to the real ones, too light for my liking.

Hopefully to get the tree by next week, by the way, can anyone direct me to the nearest Cunninghams and Neds store to the city? Thanks, I try looking up google but those names were not listed.
