Moonta Street is great, Chinatowns anywhere generally are. I only wish ours was a bit bigger.

Sorry to take the thread on a tangent but I have always thought the council could do more to try and locate chinese students in the vicinity. Even some apartments above Moonta Street would be cool.

Hugo Boss to open in Adelaide
http://www.insideretailing.com.au/artic ... cleId=1242

Hugo Boss will open its first stand alone store in South Australia in Grenfell Street, Adelaide this month.

The company has seven stand alone stores in Australia and has been considering an outlet in Adelaide for more than 18 months.

Grenfell Street is strengthening as a retail precinct with Martin Haese also planning a new menswear retail store that will be branded Youthworks.

Haese recently bought back the Youthworks brand that he sold to Brazin, the national retailer that owns Sanity and Bras n Things.

Another new fashion retailer to Adelaide is Feathers which is opening a store within a store in Myer.

Does anyone know where this store is? if it is to open in the next few weeks you would think there would be some action at the site and i have walked up and down Grenfell and can not see any appropriate location.... I know there is a new Bendigo Bank branch opening at the end of Regent Arcade on Grenfell St (Sep 10) and it's fitted out old style and complements the arcade but i can't see where Hugo boss will be...

James Place Cameras, I think moved out to the northern suburbs. The owner Stephen Bennett subsequently went bust. I heard he's up-to-his-neck in debt. Find out where Tom Taylor has gone to. He was the fella into martial arts from Gawler who knew his thing about cameras, a real knowledge base.

That's dissapointing about them going in to the glass cubes. I hope they fit it out well. All of there stores interstate are in heritage buildings and look a lot more elegant then those glass boxes. How are they going to have window displays ect. the glass is green.
