No the car park in the picture is on the north east corner of Rose St and Newmarket St behind the day surgery centre that fronts onto north Tce. The site in the development application is on the corner of west Tce and rose St. Currently the site of a chemist shop fronting west Tce.

Let's hope the prefabricated materials used in the building process are of good quality. Chinese steel and its lack of quality has been in the news lately. The 7:30 report on ABC last night talked about this.

That looks a ton better than it did before the upgrade. Still though, I can't help but feel it needs to be taller to cope with the demands of the Hospital, University and the two proposed buildings nearby.

I looked at the high standard of finish of the new levels on Friday night, and suspected that the new levels might be office or medical suites etc. Your pics seem to confirm that, for the 3 upper levels..

The 9 level carpark proposed for where the pool hall is now is going before DAC on Thursday. Not too bad design for a carpark. 29m High

Looks like this will ultimately sit underneath the Enigma 8 building.

This will be a dense cluster if both these two + the residential apartments on the HQ site go ahead. Still not sure about the designs being used for such a prominent and visible city corner.
