Though the Adelaidean looks good i feel like having the floor slab hanging out creates some issues (bird shit and potential staining). As good and prominent that'll be, will there be spikes along the perimeter to prevent this cause?

I highly doubt it, over time the bird droppings will probably add a bit of much needed character to this building though.

The beam seems to have calmed down from whatever drugs it was on previously and is now changing colour at an appropriate speed.

I think the beam looks a bit tacky. Hopefully it looks better once everything is complete.

Agree with the sentiments here. They should keep it one colour and dim it a little. Considering the remainder of the building is dark and unlikely to change much, the beam stands out too much.
