Looking at those photos, it makes you wonder what sort of hallucinogenic drugs these development panels that approve developments are on, when you take into consideration some of the excellent proposals that get knocked back or forced to be watered down.

I thought at the time that the renders on page 8 looked ok, but real life is rather disappointing! It actually looks like cheap social welfare housing which I doubt was the original intention!

I had been reserving judgement, hoping the paintwork might help matters. It doesn't.

What's even more offensive about this building is that it's right beside the Queen's Theatre. The new worst beside the oldest best.
