There are 4 retail spaces in this development, 2 facing Gibson Street and 2 facing the laneway. EBG's photo shows the corner retail space along Gibson and Fourth Street I believe.

There will be an additional levels of apartments above.

Jesus, if that's the original renders they've really not done a very good job replicating it... Just slabs of concrete.

It is being built in sections. The big slabs of concrete you see in the photos are in the middle of the development facing Gibson.

There is another building to go in front of those concrete walls (which has only just commenced construction).

The facade they have started to paint looks very similar to the renders.

And to add, Stage One is already completed and looks pretty close to the render.

Yes Norman my photo shows the corner retail space along Gibson and Fourth Street. if the project includes 10/11 stories at the corner then maybe they will need another tower crane?
there is no picture on the site fence so I am not sure what is proposed. Watch this space.

Nightingale Housing has announced Bowden as their first project outside of Victoria. They've won a slew of awards for their sustainable and community-focused housing in Melbourne. Not sure which site they'll be taking on, but the ballot for involvement (as an 'ethical' social/environmental builder, there are eligibility criteria) is open: https://nightingalehousing.org
