I'm going to guess that the architects decided to play graphic designer and did the signage themselves. Everything is set in bloody Arial. (If that's the look they were going for, they could have at least used Helvetica, but really they probably should have used the AECs corporate typeface Gill Sans.)

I think stuff like that but whenever I voice it I get looks that say WTF??? Most people I know wouldn't have a clue what Helvetica or Gill Sans are
