Going before DAc this Thursday. Looks to be a headquarters for Bridgestone.

Very thankful for the required changes on this one, particularly setbacks (they proposed none!) and the retention of the council trees. Greenhill Road does not need to look industrial. It's not a bad development otherwise.

5 levels of car parking for 3 levels of office space? :?

(meanwhile, it has less than half the minimum required bicycle spaces – just 12 for the entire building)

The car parking rates were provided in accordance with the minimum and maximum sought by the Development Plan.

The SCAP granted DPC to this at its hearing yesterday.

One week later and the demolition is nearly complete. At the bottom of the picture is the frame work of the old car park car ports. Note they have saved the trees at the front of the site. Click on picture for bigger.

Not wasting any time on this project, piling has commenced. During the past week a series of piles were bored up against the existing building (Medibank Building) on left hand side of picture. Click on picture for bigger.

Having set up a piled retaining wall all around the boundary, they are now excavating the basement. I will try to get a picture soon.

In the last week they have excavated right up to the existing building on the boundary and installed temporary wall bracing to support the side wall.
