Yup, I was referring to the dirt pile. You can see it slightly in some of those shots, but it's a far more impressive sight from the Plant 4 balcony :wink:

Do you think that fill(ie Mt Bowden) has been kept to use as future fill for the pug hole sites nearby ie Ex~Gas Co land in Chief St?

Have they put down the tracks yet as they was two maintenance trains today using Semaphore Road crossing ?

Does anyone have a recent nearmap image of this area?
Big infrastructure investments are usually under-valued and & over-criticized while in the planning stage. It's much easier to envision the here and now costs and inconveniences, and far more difficult to imagine fully the eventual benefits.

Sad and annoying news. I was going to do just this but it looks like Nearmap have ended demo access. Disappointing.
