The big problem with this site is that the best view is from upstairs within the airport terminal itself, which means you get charged 1/2 hr just for parking for 5 minutes.

You get a compairable view from Tapleys Hill Road. There is a free parking bay to view planes from.
West Beach skate park has an even better view. Head there on a heavy wind day and watch the fun of a plane landing!
