Wholly within the site, however there will be a reservation within the basement levels to allow for the construction of the CBD underground loop (whenever that may happen).

God forbid the Adelaide CBD gets another building that appears to be a car park...there are enough ugly real ones already!

I think it looks nice, its hard to tell from the renders but the night lighting is what appears to make it look like a 'carpark'?

This could look really ugly during the day. Notice they've only shown night shots and in Render Fantasy Land too. I guess I'll wait and see before passing judgement.

Because the city is overdeveloped and just bursting at the seems? Nah. Let the universities keep growing, I say.

As for this building, I think it'll look better from the riverside, but it's real impact will be at ground level. I love that it doesn't close itself off from the terrace and in fact opens through to the river view.

Gotta say I am getting a laugh at the fact that I am more partial to the 'stock' convention centre expansion in the second render than what has actually been built.

Can someone please explain why a building like this which is only 13 levels is going to cost
$206 million ?

From memory Vue which is 28 levels will cost about half as much.
