If I was living in this shoe box I would get frustrated every time I look out the window that I couldn't open it and get
some fresh air.

The outside view on the previous page suggests that some of the windows open.

The windows in the bedrooms do open. Some bedrooms have different configurations that means they have two windows ect

Most of the windows open. I think they really struggled with that blank wall however, not being allowed to overlook the courts hurts with the interior design in a big way. Still very clever what they can do. In that particular apartment (3 bed sub penthouse facing south) that may have been the best view.

Quite a few negative comments on the western wall.
I like it myself - nicely articulated and pleasingly proportioned. Colors are elegant too IMO

Yes we hate blank walls here on S-A. Anyhow a big welcome.
Cheers

First ever skyscraper that I have disliked. I wish they would of gone with a slimmer, more tapered design -
even if it meant more floors. This building has kind of botched the skyline, especially if you are coming in from
West Melbourne. A concrete wall would just create a brutalist feel, so in this case I am happy with the fake glass.
I have to look at the bloody thing everyday, has completely ruined the view of 3 of our best skyscrapers.

It makes a lot of sense to have a blank wall facing west. Our afternoon sun in summer is intense and I've heard many of the high rise apartments we have now facing west are very hot at those times.cmet wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 12:06 amMost of the windows open. Hey Ben, any chance you were the Ben who got their photo of the Adelaide skyline on channel 10 weather report tonight? Definitely taken from Kodo
