So 8 exposed with 9 in the boxes - shiiiit. Only a few more rises until the eastern core goes bye bye (level 11 - me thinks)

And also if you get a chance, check out the way the new crane is mounted to the ground. Looks like it's not fixed, but used a massive amount of weight blocks and counter weights. Wierd.

Also shouldn't be too much longer until the old 'Tiser building get going too. Another crane for the CBD!

Core rise! and western half 3rd floor plate getting a pour! Also they have added a bit to the crane, so it will def be going up soon. Tomorrow is my thinking, but hopefully today :)

Can someone please take some more photos of the construction site, and the new crane so we can have a look at this crane...

Now 9 exposed with 10 in the boxes! These boys aren't farking around with this one! Surely tower crane 1 must rise soon, the floorplates are nearly high enough for a support collar (I think that's what they are called) to be fitted.

I'd say the other crane will be up on tomorrow too TS. Most of 'em go up on the weekend. There could possibly be two cranes going up on the one weekend, Santos crane base is there waiting to go too.

It won't be long and the webcam will be reduntant for updates on the core. A few more rises and they'll be out of sight!

Well not completely sure but appears as though Waymouth Street has been blocked off and two large mobile cranes have taken up residence in the middle of the road going by webcam. The larger one near the soon to be constructed site crane appears to be working on that crane and there are numerous construction workers walking around on the top floor plates and Waymouth Street. So it appears this 2nd site crane might finally go up tonight! Hard to tell in the dark exactly what is happening though, but that webcam is bloody excellent for keeping us updated. Also the core rise today is really starting to have an impact.

Up she goes!!! Walked past site late yesterday and saw crane mast parts sitting in the gap between the new advertiser building and the western core. So obviously delivered and ready to go. Going by webcam, looks like this crane is already a good deal taller than the previous one, so hopefully the southern crane will use its damn collar and climb!

Is it city central 1 or the office tower to go right behind the post office that has the huge atrium going up the south side of the tower?

^ This one dude. You can't quite see it on the webcam, but the floors are recessed a little on the south eastern corner.
Should show it on the plans a few pages back I posted IIRC.

More repetitive crane shots than you could poke a stick at:
