Damn, I was really hoping there would be a higher density of planted trees.

Great work!
Only some slight adjustments required to the data regarding building heights. 115 King William Street is 92m and the Intercontinental is 87m. The new BHP building is 85m.

Thanks for all the photos ppl.
Actually I think it's looking pretty good, it's taken a long time to get to this point. Agree that more shade is needed but I think with some patience that will be sorted.

Cheers, I'll fix that in the morning. Thanks for the heads up!

Looks like Jacarandas, they can get quite big.

The Jacarandas do grow to be large trees, within a decade. The tree choice should come as no surprise as all the early renders of this site Cleary showed purple flowering Jacaranda trees. They look beautiful in spring and are a real feature in some Adelaide suburbs.

Are a lot of the original art works from when the festival centre plaza was built going to be re-instated?

Oh yeah, Jacarandas look great. That lawn does look like it will be a massive pain in the butt to mow though.

Nope, they were mostly destroyed in the process of being removed I believe.

Im just a bit concerned that there isn't any permanent tv screen installation, what's going to attract people to the plaza ,even the water feature is more of a shallow water feature it doesn't even have water jets from what I've seen being tested last weekend, water fountains are a big draw card for kids and parents i.e Mosely square ...just my thoughts anyway .

They probably don't want kids playing in the water features in the city.

Why?
They seem welcome in the Victoria Square water feature.

At a guess, they might not want it happening in front of the state’s main entertainment venue for “looks”. Victoria Square is more of a public place and away from anything “important” so they might have less of a problem with it there.

You clearly don't know how the rotation of the earth, or its rotation around the sun works.
