The AdelaideMetro website has been updated and list all affected routes in the timetable changes, new routes being initiated and also the new look timetables themselves. Got a large number of links on the homepage so they are easy to find.

I agree, the layout is rather bad. Compare:

Old: http://www.adelaidemetro.com.au/routes/ ... ttable.pdf

...and not to mention they didn't make it overly obvious that if your bus isn't on the big long list, it isn't affected. I spent 5 valuable minutes cussing over the loss of my bus route when I finally realised nothing had changed!

Haha! :D

They look a bit confusing, but are similar format to the STA tables from 1990s, which were black on plain paper.
Simple tables like 135 are easy to follow; more complex ones like the 136/7/8/9 are a bit harder to decipher. :)

Back in 1993, the 131 ran to Lockleys; it has returned, though on a different route.

Some confusing shit alright for example Blackwood to City bus T217 but City to Blackwood only 217
what is the damn point of making them different even if the difference is slight. Are they trying to
confuse people on purpose??? Sure damn looks that way. It probably has to do something with the
fact that the bus only stops at certain stops after Sheppards Hill Road when travelling to the city.

T217 follows a slightly different route into the city to the 217. The T217 is going to be a limited express service serving only a few stops along Goodwood Road. I'm wondering why they decided to label the route as a transitlink type of route rather than an express route marked with X.

In my area, the 176 is being removed and replaced by the 126, which will run to Paradise Interchange via The Parade and Glynburn Road instead of Payneham Road, and then follows the 177 route to Paradise Interchange. They're introducing a curious route, the 175 to make up for the buses that are being diverted elsewhere, which follows the same route as the 174, 177, 178 and 179, but only to Glynde.

Well, they are doing a few good things, like giving the 241 and 190 weekend runs, and bolstering up services in other places. I do find the 198 strage though...

Good to see it gets the same look as the new gawler line timetable.

But what do we all think of the updated service? It's bugger all different IMO

This does raise one good question, why did they introduce a new format timetable on a line where the actual services are identical to the old one and yet the Noarlunga line has a completely new service pattern due to the opening of the new Oaklands Interchange and yet the old timetable remains in affect despite different stopping patterns! I have seen some really strange things done with the railways but this is certainly a hum dinger!

As for the maps, how they managed to make them even worse the Gawler Central timetable is beyond me!
