Howdy neighbour

Also, am I the only one that thinks James Place feels really cool as an undercover space?

Great photo! The outlook from the Hennessy rooftop bar will look fantastic once this one goes up.

Walking past it is crazy how huge the footprint of the building is.

Would have been a landmark building for the city if it was taller. Still looks good though.

Its disappointing how short in height this building is.

Anyway, getting back to the topic.
In Andy's first photo, there's black mesh or tarps on the adjacent building. Anyone know why? Don't recall seeing this on other developments?

That wall used to have cladding on it. I assume they've taken it off because this development will be butting up against it and that's to protect the wall in the meantime.

Living in London now, can confirm the scrappers mean nothing to no one.

Having said that I think they do mean more to Australians.Perhaps it’s because we are a smaller country and we see the largest cities in the world with epic skylines, we feel this is how we compete.

Traveling around Europe however, you almost don’t notice the lack of skylines because the cities are so vibrant dense and busy.

London is a city made of of many villages it feels like. Take all the scrappers away and it’s still be the best place on earth.
