Nice pic Norman.

I'm amazed at how much the signage has somehow softened this building.

I really didn't mind the second to final design, with the fully glass pods and an evidently central core. I feel a bit cheated that the eastern facade has only half the previous Advertiser Building echoes in the... whatever those components across it in a grid like pattern are (sorry, ignorant!). It looks like they ran out of cashola with only half of it there.

But again, nice signage.

STUPID DESIGN FEATURES....

1 Zig Zag Veranda bound to pick up lots of leaves and rubbish and hold water, mud and the rust...

2 Permanent Shade fixtures bound to hassle the best window washers meaning dirtier and older looking building...

They are real noddy's they should have built those 13 or so floors onto of CC1 then we would have had
a striking building...

Here is a pic of CC1 and CC2 I found on realcommercial.com.au as part of the advertisement for space in the Adam Internet building to the north. These buildings could have been a lot better but they still add a more modern appearance to the area and curtain glass which is lacking along King William Street. They look excellent lit up at night too.

It is also interesting that no public notification has occurred for the CC8 application as yet. Maybe they are changing the design? I doubt the ACC would have been too happy with that western blank wall. Or maybe a possible tenant is requiring changes.

Anyway here is the pic:

It is a great angle but all I can focus on is how ugly the Adamnet building is.

Thanks for the find UrbanSG.

They could easily give this building a facelift. At the same time improve its Greenstar rating. Really what should be done, and I know this is way improbable, is for the owner of this property to get together with Pascot (nextdoor), form a joint venture and build a 100m+ tower (because on their own they'll never, ever, see anything taller than what you see now, if they ever decide to rebuild of course).

Cheers

From memory, it was strata titled a few years back, so would be difficult.

I think it means that instead of having one owner, the building is divided, and it has multiple owners. Thus, each floor in the building could have a different owner.

V good angle of the buildings shown. I don't mind the look of the one on the NW corner.

Nice photo. I think that this building (including the green glass) actually looks very good. Just not the concrete on the back of it.
