Sad panda.
2013 was such a special fringe. It felt big enough that it was an amazing time but not so over saturated as it’s become.

I miss Barrio, it was peak Fringe. Unique enough, but not overly commercialised like it is now.

Lola's Pergola was another Fringe pop-up venue from around the same time. From memory it was roughly where Home Ground is now?

It was on the lawns in front. They reused the timber structure from Lola's for the pig spit concession in GoUD.
We also had the Splash Adelaide activations, small bar license and food truck craze around the same period. Real step change for Adelaide.

Barrio and Lola’s were part of the Adelaide Festival, nothing to do with the Fringe.
