The main service core area was concreted today. There are still other areas yet to be concreted.

I live next door... It's all I've heard, along with the vibrating of my house. I'm all for these kinds of developments (and am quite excited to see this one go up) and understand the schedule they have to work by, but with some respect to the neighbours. There have been trucks on site from 6.00AM most mornings making extensive noise, surely waiting another hour to fit inside the legal noise curfew isn't that hard... In which case, I will be at uni and they can make as much noise as they like. :)

I love the look of freshly poured wet smooth concrete. Err, um, yeah. Maybe just me. Ahem...

You should try living over this corner (East End) because of all the businesses here any road/footpath construction goes on overnight - starting around 10pm and finishing about 3am. *twitch*

An update. As at 8 may the lower floor slab is complete. Note (from earlier pictures) this is not a full depth basement is only about 2.5 - 2.8 meters deep. could a parking level? Note also the Basement only covers the northern part of the site.

What time were you there, EBG? I went past this one around noon, but I felt stupid going down that lane just to take a picture with all those workers around, so I didn't bother. Didn't get a close-up of Bohem for the same reason. I'm too self-conscious

Anyway, I'm interested to watch this one go up, as it's in a rather isolated spot, and should therefore be quite prominent despite not being super tall. I've noticed that the crane is very visible when I walk south down Frome Street, so I think that may be a good place to get some pictures once this one rises from the ground.

I was there at 13.45 pm (according to my phone). As for bohem if you go east down Wright St then there is a little St called Wright Court and just off that there is a dead end lane which brings you out on the east side of the Bohem site. That's how I got pictures that appear to be taken in the middle of the site.

Work on the ground floor on the south (street side ) parking level. The floor levels on the North (back of site ) and the street side are 1/2 a floor different in height with connecting ramps up and down for the parking levels.
