Adelaide,
South Australia
Over the last 2 years we have designed a new ‘Signature’ building behind the Supreme Court in Victoria Square and have suggested a uniquely South Australian architecture for this preeminent tower in Adelaide’s southern CBD.
Organic and earthy, the tower includes new court offices, residential accommodation and a new gallery of indigenous art. A public observation deck is included for unobstructed views over the city, to the hills and to the coast.

Interesting. Nice to see a new tallest concept.
I would have thought there would be a security issue though with apartments and courts in the same building.
Maybe this was the indigenous art concept Rann was working on before he was ditched?

but I agree, it just won't happen so close to the law courts.

Love it. Would the real one be so transparent though? Still, could be a fantastic addition to the city if it were ever built. If this were BHP Billiton then it would crap all over Perth's horrid City Square.
I don't see what the issue would be with the courts - the vision doesn't call for actual courtrooms, just court offices. And it's no different to the other courts being next to the Central Markets or the Hilton.

Alone, this would dramatically change that area of the city - but when you combine this with the Sturt St proposal, and the fact that Victoria Sq is finally happening, things will be very very different.

The crazy external support system reminds me of that currently being deployed by 111 Eagle Street in Brisbane.

Man this tower looks insane! I don't think it's "Adelaide" style as the article mentions, although. Besides that, I 100% support a new tallest over the Westpac building.

I would say around 170-180m
