Hi guys,

Nick here from Adelaide City Council. I just wanted to let you know Council is currently running Stage 3 of Picture Adelaide 2040 and would love your help to discuss Adelaide's future.

Last year over 1,000 people shared their favourite places in the City, and this year's all about looking forward 25 years. If you haven't heard of Picture Adelaide 2040 before it's a significant engagement project that is informing future planning for the City.

One of the new features for this Stage is an online discussion forum where people can look at ideas, opportunities and challenges around the future of certain themes in the City. So far there's been People Movement and City Spirit, and Economy and Business is currently open. Tomorrow People and Community is being introduced, which has a lot to do with how and where people live in the City.

Hope to see you on there! For more information about the project, check out http://pictureadelaide.com.au/.

Hey Nick, welcome and appreciate you posting here on S-A. I've been actively contributing to the picture adelaide forum - just earlier today for the Economy and Business topic. Hopefully other S-A members will soon contribute.

Do keep us posted on progress and feel free to pop in every now and then with questions. We're an enthusiastic bunch with a diverse background. Always happy to help.

Hi all!

People and Community is now open:
http://discussions.pictureadelaide.com/ ... -community

It really encompasses everything about how living in the City will look in 25 years: where people will live, how a greater diversity of people can call the City home, and the ways in which residents will interact with each other and foster a sense of community as the population grows.

All of your thoughts on ideas, challenges, and opportunities are welcome!

Nick
