Surfers Paradise to take the crown back for tallest in Au

Article from the July last year that people may have missed

A CHINESE group wants to build a tower that will “look down” on the Q1 and reposition Surfers Paradise as home of the tallest residential tower in the Southern Hemisphere.
The 88-level building, estimated to be worth more than $1 billion, is planned on the site of the former Iluka tower by the Australian arm of Forise Holdings.
I only heard about this building after this article

Queensland's Gold Coast has been home to high-rise buildings by the sea since the 1960s, but in recent times the approval process has become skewed, former city architect Philip Follent says.

Mr Follent has questioned why an 88-storey tower was approved on the site of the former Iluka building at Surfers Paradise.

He said the gross floor area of the new tower would be almost 40 times the size of the land
Anyone know how their ratios compare to ours?
