If I become the Mayor of Adelaide, I want to make it like Singapore Airport! Run whole CBD on Solar, only cyclist, public transport and essential services will be allowed. Everything enters CBD should powered by solar. Will have footpath escalators like in Airports. And this building is like a poo in my dream. I just hope they will fix the look and feel soon.

I think this buildings only failing is that it's short and fat, another 10 or 15 floors ontop would have brought it together. But it will just be filler in a few years anyway, not every building needs to be a triumph of modern architecture

I really appreciate this forum because I get to learn about new developments, get to hone my critical thinking by hearing other peoples' thoughts and views, get some technical knowledge, and get to connect even more closely with the city I love dearly. The personal sledging of other posters that creeps into the discussion occasionally diminishes all that though. There are plenty of other sites where vilification is valued, and hopefully this site doesn't become one of them. Let's celebrate good design and development, and provide positive feedback for developments that disappoint us eh?

I doubt people would buy apartment with the view of this crap from their balcony. I am extremely lucky that I didn't put down deposit for West Franklin with airport view apartment. Had I brought it, I would be waking up to this tragic view.

I did put down a deposit for such an apartment (not in West Franklin though) and I have absolutely no problem with having that building in my future panorama...
