Photo from this week showing a new concrete pump tower.

Hopefully the floor construction rate will increase now.

A couple from yesterday

The external brickwork finish for the first 5 levels is starting to go in, as well as the ground floor services.

Slow but steady.

I can't remember the last time full bricks (not brick slips) were used in a construction of this scale.

I would expect they will be brick slips as it gets further off the ground.

Really looking forward to seeing this one come together.

It's seemed like this one has been very slow so I hope it now gathers pace. For comparison, O'Connell Street's crane went up about the same time (Jan last year?) and it's more advanced on a much bigger build. Indeed, basement notwithstanding, this may soon be lapped by Victoria Tower on Grote which only really got going in August.

Slow but steady progress.

There is a lot going on in this building - and the services are being installed in the lower floors, so I would expect some glass going in soonish.

Photos from yesterday and hopefully a crane rise soon.

Can see the building transitioning from the first 5 levels into the main apartment tower.

Interesting tower pump, curious who is the pumping contractor? Haven’t seen this tower before on any site.
