Demolition of the existing 2 Story office building "Tara Hall" has been completed and site works for the new 6 Story building has commenced . Pictures 28/3/2021.

update 10/7/2022 Sorry it has been a while since i got a photo. This site is true to the renders. a similar style and size will be built on the existing cancer accommodation building on the left of this building (once it is open). .The next building will serve as a private hospital.

This project is 96% complete externally only the east side drive way and the rear car park need sealing even the front garden is complete.. pictures 22/10/2022

New centre is now open (even though the drive though is not sealed And demolition of the old site is underway today .

As mentioned above the new cancer centre opened to the public last week and the old centre at 203/204 Greenhill Rd is currently bring demolished. Construction of the new 6 story private hospital will begin early in the the new tear,

Also 217/218 Greenhill Rd (old housing trust units next to the Air apartments)) is also being demolished.

They were earmarked for a private market build to rent "affordable" apartment project. Not sure if there's already a thread or if it's still happening.

I work for Cancer Council SA. Just to provide some background behind the side access road and rear of the site not being sealed yet, they are now about to commence construction of a (slight afterthought) three level, above-ground car park at the rear of the site. The new neighbouring six storey hospital will have two levels of underground car parking and the building will go from the front of the site all the way to the rear.

The old CCSA Flinders Lodge on Dequetteville Tce will be repurposed as a motel for the time being, the site is owned by a well-known developer (can’t remember who, though) so how long that will last, I’m not sure.

Work is continuing on the 3 story rear car park. Also good news, earth works have started on the new private hospital next door at 203 Greenhill rd .picture later.

The carpark will be complete by August (weather dependant), they've build three levels for the front half of the carpark and they're now commencing on the rear three levels of the carpark. The site is tight so they've have to do it all in halves.

As I understand it, the delay in the hospital build has been due to the extent of the water table under the site (CCSA has this issue also, hence a multi level carpark above ground), so their plans to build underground car parking may or may not have been impact by this.

i live in this area and I saw the 7 story (plus 1 basement) building at 210 Greenhil Rd get built and they did not seem to have any water table problems. It will be interesting to see if the proposed 11 story affordable housing project at 218 has any water table problems I have not seen their parking plans.

No actual building work has been undertaken at 202/3 Greenhill Rd, new private hospital site. All that has happen since May is that they seem to spend time moving heaps of dirt arround the site. In fact there seems to be more dirt now than in May.

Note the 3 level car park at the rear of the cancer centre on right hand side of picture is nearly complete. FYI street numbering Cancer centre is 201-202 Greenhill Rd
