Brother, how can you say that the Adelaidean is cheaper than Realm when they're both being built on the same shoe string budget
of $100 million ?
Realm and the Adelaidean are both cheap. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if we're ever going to get an iconic
tower than it will be the Sofitel hotel on Currie street.
Where did all this brothering come from?

I hope the developers of Adelaidean are taking notice. THIS is how you treat the facade of a premier tower.
This already feels of such higher quality than Adelaidean. If only it was 50 or 60 levels instead. This deserves to be our tallest tower, not the cheap job down the road.

Just because someone throws heaps of money at something doesn't make it good quality. Clive Palmer's campaign is a good example of this.

Small request..can you get a closer/zoomed in shot of the gold pieces on the balconies? Interested to see what the pattern actually is.

Is it just me, or would others be annoyed by those screens outside their balconies and obstructing the view? Maybe I'm just starting getting old and grumpy.

Well the budget must of been spent in the right places. Ie Elenberg Fraser architects, because they are basically as good as it gets here in Aus.

Not a fair comparison since one is all residential and the other is hotel.

What difference does that make to the cost ?
I agree with claybro. If I was living there I would get frustrated every single time I went out to the balcony that there's a yellow thing
protruding my view.

If it would bother you so much, why would you buy an apartment there after seeing the plans?

some people are so fucking dumb.

I did take one a little more close up which I’ve added below, then cropped it further. These are taken on an iPhone so the zoom isn’t great but you get the idea!

Ah nice. From the distant shots it looked almost like flowers or leaves.

Have also been Photoshopping one of the photos I took yesterday. The photographers of Adelaide are going to have a lot of fun with some of the graphic elements that Elenberg Fraser have included on this building.

I’m still wondering if they are perhaps flowers? We need a telephoto lens.

The building was 93% sold in December, so basically you and GHS are the only people who care.
